Simulated Society (SIMSOC) is a dynamic group learning experience designed to engage participants
in dealing with the problems of today's society as a team.
Participants assume a variety of roles and struggle with power relations, justice, diversity, trust and leadership
as they negotiate their way through issues such as political strife and natural disasters.
There are very few rules and restrictions; success or failure depends on decisions made by the participants
and the creativity of the group.
Adults learn best by doing, and the value of SIMSOC is to let people create their own society. Their choices have consequences and these consequences have to be addressed in order to realize a successful community.
SIMSOC has brought great results for collaborative partners, community leadership programs
and chambers of commerce all across the country.
What people are saying about SIMSOC:
"Provided real life situations and problems in a risk-free environment."
"Brought our group cohesion and showed feelings and fears of diverse groups."
"It's so realistic of life!"
