Community Meetings                                

Our next meeting is Saturday, November 15, 2008
Meetings are  from 2pm to 4pm, at the St. John Grand Lodge building, 1809 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.   

In August a Community Cafe' was designed to have the community voice concerns regarding Safety, Education and Housing. Meeting participants  also received door prizes  and school supplies.

May's general community meeting focused  on the needs and desires of Central City     residents.  One- Economy gave a brief presentation on creating your own emergency preparedness plan. In addition to the presentation One-Economy provided summer interns to assist families in creating their own preparedness plan.
